Who we are

We're 100% locally owned and family run — not a franchise, and not owned by a bank. We specialise in residential mortgages, and there's no fee for our service.

Adam Wiley started the business in Dubbo in 2017 after eleven years in finance here, originally as Regional Finance Brokers. We renamed it Dubbo Mortgage Brokers in 2023, because that's plainly what we are and where we are.

There's no head office in Sydney telling us which lender to recommend. We answer to the people sitting across the desk from us, and nobody else.

Why local matters out here

Bank branches keep closing across the Central West, and the ones still open can only sell you their own products. When your lender is a call centre in another state — or another country — nobody at the other end has been to your town, let alone driven past the property.

We sit across more than twenty lenders and we live here. When you ring 02 6885 0588 you get one of us. You'll deal with the same small team from your first call through to settlement, and you'll speak to a real person every time.

We've helped thousands of families across Dubbo, Wellington, Narromine, Gilgandra, Nyngan, Cobar, Bourke, Orange, Bathurst, Parkes, Forbes, Mudgee, and just about every town in between.

Further afield is no barrier either. Our systems are fully digital, so we look after clients right across Australia — Central West locals who've moved away, and plenty of people who simply wanted a broker who'd pick up the phone.

How we work

We compare our full lender panel, prepare and submit the application, chase the lender, and coordinate settlement with your solicitor and agent. You're not left refreshing an inbox wondering what's happening — that's the part clients mention most in their reviews.

Our service is at no cost to you. We're paid a commission by the lender when your loan settles. It isn't added to your loan, built into your rate or hidden in your documents. And under the Best Interests Duty we're legally required to recommend what suits your situation, not what pays us most.
