Lenders save their sharpest pricing for new customers. If you haven't reviewed your loan in two or three years, there's a fair chance you're paying more than someone who walked in the door last week with the same income and the same deposit.
Nobody writes to tell you. There's no letter when a better rate becomes available, and the gap between what you're paying and what's on offer widens quietly.
